  • Can I track my referrals?
    You can! The app allows you to track from when they enter our system to when they make a purchase. You can see all of this on your Referral Detail page.
  • How am I paid for my referral?
    You can choose to receive your rewards via bank ACH transfer or wire transfer. ACH Bank transfer is free; there is a charge for wire transfer.
  • I forgot my password, what do I do?
    Simply go to the app log in screen and hit the “forgot password” button.
  • Do Affiliates have to pay taxes on money earned through the ADT Solar referral app?
    Referral Rewards may be taxable, depending on the value of the item and the federal, state, and local tax laws applicable to the Participant. ADT Solar does not offer tax advice and Participants should consult with their tax professional for any questions. Participants are solely responsible for reporting such items on their tax returns and paying any associated tax liability.
  • I need to change my email I registered with

  • Can I refer a commercial business?
    No, at this time we only accept residential referrals.
  • Will Affiliates receive a 1099-K?
    When rewarding for referrals through the ADT Solar App, it is classified as a digital payment through XTRM. Third-party settlement organizations are required to issue a 1099-K after 200 transactions and paying out over $20,000. Whether the payee receives a 1099-K or not, they are still required to report that income to the IRS (and state, if applicable) and pay taxes accordingly.
  • If the app is not available in 2024, how will I receive my 2023 tax form?
    Your 2023 (and all previous years) will be available through our 3rd party payment processor, Xtrm. In order to login, you will need to go to https://www.xtrm.com/web/Forgot.aspx and fill in your email address used for the ADT Solar App. Reset your password for this email address and once logged in you will be able to access your tax forms. If you have any issues, reach out to support@xtrm.com
  • What if I have a problem using the app?
    With the app is no longer being supported, our help desk was discontinued.
  • With ADT Solar closing, will the ADT Solar app still be available?
    The ADT Solar will remain on the app stores until March 31, 2024.
  • Will I still be paid for people I referred prior to February 19?
    Referral payments due will be made until March 15, 2024 for any referrals that were input into the app prior to the closure announcement.
  • What happens to my bank balance if I do not transfer my funds prior to the app being removed?
    Your funds will remain in your bank, however, your bank will only be accessible by our 3rd party payment processor, XTRM. You will only be able to transfer your balance by logging into XTRM’s website. In order to login, you will need to go to https://www.xtrm.com/web/Forgot.aspx and fill in your email address used for the ADT Solar App. Reset your password for this email address and once logged in you will be able to transfer your remaining balance. If you have any issues, reach out to support@xtrm.com
  • Why can’t I refer someone?
    Starting Monday, February 19, 2024, ADT Solar will no longer be accepting new referrals. However, we want to assure you that our commitment to supporting our in-progress and existing customers remains unwavering. Please transfer all remaining balances by March 31, 2024.
